USFL Using De’Veon Smith/Kirby Wilson Video for Publicity

The USFL is once again making headlines in the mainstream. Early yesterday morning...a video began circulating social media of a conversation between De'Veon Smith and Kirby Wilson. In the clip...it's insinuated that Kirby Wilson is releasing De'Veon Smith from the USFL team in Pittsburgh due to De'Veon Smith choosing pizza over chicken salad.

We play and react to the clip of the conversation. We theorize that this situation was manufactured by the USFL...and conveniently released the morning of the first Pittsburgh game in a desperate attempt to boost television ratings and boost publicity around the USFL.

USFL Premiere Dominates NBA Ratings

Last week...the NBA claimed the 2021-22 regular season was their most successful in three years. NBA ratings for this season were the highest since 2019...and the league boasted about their success on social media.
