Friday Feb 19, 2021
Friday Feb 19, 2021
In most cases...relationships aren't ended by one major event happening. The relationship slowly erodes over time due to a series of seemingly minor issues that eventually add up. Where there is smoke...there is usually fire...and we're beginning to see signs of smoke in Seattle.
Something isn't right between Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. Pete Carroll publicly criticized him after their Wild Card loss to the Rams last month. Russell Wilson publicly criticized the Seahawks for their lack of attention addressing the issues on the offensive line.
Is Russell Wilson in the long-term plans for the Seahawks? We explain why he isn't going anywhere this offseason...but how he could be playing for a different team in 2022.

Draymond Green Wrongfully Calls Out NBA
Tuesday Feb 16, 2021
Tuesday Feb 16, 2021
Players in the NBA have more power than any other sports league in the country. Superstar players in the NBA can breach their contract...can force their franchise to trade them to a preferred destination...and the team has no recourse.
However...this level of power isn't enough for Draymond Green. He claims that the league mistreats its players...and NBA players aren't given the same level of respect that teams are given.
We analyze Draymond Green's three minute tirade...and explain how he is 100% wrong. We make the case that NBA players are pampered...not mistreated. We explain why Draymond Green's comments prove this point...and how it further proves the narrative that NBA players aren't relatable.

Kevin Durant: Could He Eventually Return to Golden State Warriors?
Sunday Feb 14, 2021
Sunday Feb 14, 2021
Kevin Durant made his triumphant return to Golden State Saturday night...and it was rather anti-climatic. The Brooklyn Nets steamrolled Steph Curry and the Warriors...in a game played in front of an empty arena.
Over the weekend...the media in the Bay Area began circulating theories about a possible return of Kevin Durant to the Warriors. One of ESPN's NBA analysts even joined in on the theory...speculating that Durant's rumored return will only gain steam over time.
We explain why Kevin Durant will never return to the Golden State Warriors...and how the rumors of his return are purely media driven.

Russell Wilson: Early Stages of Divorce With Seahawks?
Friday Feb 12, 2021
Friday Feb 12, 2021
For close to 10 years...Russell Wilson has been the face of the Seattle Seahawks. He's led the franchise to unprecedented success...even though he's been the more pressured quarterback in the NFL.
Throughout the past decade...Russell Wilson has never publicly had anything negative to say about the Seahawks. However...he voiced his frustration earlier this week with the lack of offensive line help on The Dan Patrick Show...which upset management in Seattle.
We explain why Pete Carroll and the Seahawks need to tread carefully this offseason with Russell Wilson...and listen to his complaints. Otherwise...this situation in Seattle could eventually end the same way it ended for Tom Brady in New England.

Adam Silver Blocks Mark Cuban From Going Woke
Thursday Feb 11, 2021
Thursday Feb 11, 2021
The NBA's decision to go full woke last summer had devastating impacts on their television ratings. Ratings for the playoffs and the NBA Finals hit record lows...as fans turned their backs on the league and its woke politics.
The NBA has cleaned the woke politics out of the league this season...and ratings are up 34 percent. However...Mark Cuban made the decision to bow to the woke community...and quit playing the national anthem before Dallas Mavericks home games.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver blocked Cuban's decision...and the national anthem is required to be played at all NBA games. We praise Adam Silver for standing up for the right thing...also while making a smart business decision.
We call out Stan Van Gundy for publicly supporting Mark Cuban...and discuss how woke politics have no place in the NBA.

Wednesday Feb 10, 2021
Wednesday Feb 10, 2021
The eyes of the NFL world were on the Superbowl Sunday night...but you had to know Jerry Jones wasn't going to let us forget about his Dallas Cowboys. The team posted a hype video for the 2021 season on social media immediately after the Superbowl...and there was one player who was noticeably missing in the video. DAK PRESCOTT.
We've been saying for 18 months here on the channel that Jerry Jones has no faith in Dak Prescott...and didn't want him in Dallas long-term...and now our theory is being proven correct.
We analyze the Cowboys explanation for omitting Dak from the video...and completely destroy their excuse. We also explain why the relationship between Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys is irreparable....and he needs to start fresh with a team that respects him next season.

Drew Brees Inadvertently Helping Big Ben Stay With Steelers?
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
Over the weekend...the news was released that the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees have agreed to restructure his contract. He will make the veterans' minimum in 2021...instead of the $25 million he was scheduled to make. Which saves the cap-strapped Saints $24 million in salary cap space.
Fans in Pittsburgh that want Big Ben Roethlisberger back with the Steelers next season believed this was good news. With Brees taking far less money...perhaps Big Ben can do the same. He has publicly stated he isn't worried about money...he is worried about winning.
We explain why Brees and Roethlisberger are two completely different situations...and how the situation in New Orleans will have no impact on Big Ben and the Steelers. We go over a couple of options the Steelers could pursue if they want Big Ben back in 2021.
However...we explain why the best decision for the Pittsburgh Steelers is to move on from Ben Roethlisberger sooner rather than later.

Aaron Rodgers Wants to Exact Revenge on Green Bay Packers
Friday Feb 05, 2021
Friday Feb 05, 2021
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 2020 season once again ended in a disappointing loss in the NFC Championship game. The Packers are one or two pieces away from being legit Superbowl contenders.
News was released this week that Aaron Rodgers has been begging the Packers for years to "go all-in". He wants them to push all their chips on the table...and do whatever it takes to bring in players to help him win another Superbowl.
However...the Packers seem to have different plans...more focused on the long-term. The drafting of Jordan Love last year has Aaron Rodgers angry...and he's expected to ask Green Bay for more money this offseason.
We explain why this is counterintuitive to winning another Superbowl...and wonder if Aaron Rodgers is really committed to the Packers...or only committed to himself.

Dallas Cowboys: Trade Dak Prescott & Go Into Rebuild
Thursday Feb 04, 2021
Thursday Feb 04, 2021
It's no secret that Jerry Jones is desperate for his Dallas Cowboys to win another Superbowl. Most credit Jimmy Johnson for the success of the Cowboys in the 90s...not Jerry Jones. The franchise has been somewhat of a disaster since the departure of Johnson.
Which is why we believe Jerry Jones has held onto Dak Prescott for so long. However...it's clearly not working...the Cowboys aren't consistently winning...and Jones doesn't have faith in Dak as his long-term franchise quarterback.
We give the reasons why the Dallas Cowboys need to head into a rebuild this offseason...and why Dak Prescott shouldn't be apart of those long-term plans.

Tom Brady or Bill Belichick Responsible for Patriots Dynasty?
Wednesday Feb 03, 2021
Wednesday Feb 03, 2021
With Tom Brady playing in yet another Superbowl this Sunday...the same debate we've heard for the past year has once again resurfaced. Who is more responsible for the Patriots dynasty...Tom Brady or Bill Belichick?
With Brady leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Superbowl in his first season...many analysts believe he was the sole reason for the Patriots success. Belichick and the Patriots failed to make the playoffs this season...so it had to be all Tom Brady in New England...right?
We explain why Tom Brady owes some of the success to Bill Belichick...and how without Belichick...there would be no Tom Brady. We also determine who deserves the bulk of the praise for the Patriots dynasty....Brady or Belichick.
