Deshaun Watson Demands Trade From Texans; Where Will He Play Next Season?
Wednesday Jan 20, 2021
Wednesday Jan 20, 2021
In nearly 20 years of existence...the Houston Texans have had ONE franchise quarterback. Deshaun Watson. Because of the myriad of bad decisions over the last few years...the Texans have essentially forced their franchise quarterback to demand a trade this offseason.
The relationship between quarterback and franchise has become so contentious in Houston...that Deshaun Watson has stopped fielding phone calls from the Texans. In short...the marriage is over...and it's time to move on.
We explain why Deshaun Watson wants out of Houston...and why the Texans have no one to blame but themselves. The favorites to land him are the San Francisco 49ers...but we name two other NFL teams that could make a realistic push for Deshaun Watson.

Drew Brees: Time to Retire
Tuesday Jan 19, 2021
Tuesday Jan 19, 2021
There's no argument to be made...Drew Brees is the most successful player in the history of the New Orleans Saints. He is the face of the franchise...a legend...the statue of him will be in front of the Superdome in the next few years.
However...it is abundantly clear that Brees is no longer capable of leading this team to the Superbowl. Sunday night against Tom Brady and the Bucs was the third straight year that Drew Brees has collapsed in the playoffs.
Even though Brees has made no formal announcement on retirement...we explain why it's imperative that Sean Payton and the Saints move on from him this offseason...and move forward with Jameis Winston next year.

Sunday Jan 17, 2021
Sunday Jan 17, 2021
College football had their National Championship game Monday night between two of the highest profile programs in the country...Ohio State and Alabama. Yet...the game was the lowest watched National Championship game in the history of college football.
Why is that? We go over several possible reasons there was low interest in this year's NCAA title game. We explain why the NCAA bungled their response to the COVID pandemic...and ruined a prime opportunity to make college football most interesting.
We also go into detail with the problems the NCAA is facing with college football...and how the lack of parity is ruining the sport.

James Harden Facing Most Pressure In His NBA Career
Friday Jan 15, 2021
Friday Jan 15, 2021
James Harden got his wish. He's been pouting...complaining...and demanding for months to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He wanted to re-unite with Kevin Durant...he wanted the chance to play for a title contender.
James Harden now has that opportunity...but now the pressure is on. If Harden doesn't win an NBA title with the Nets...this is going to be viewed as a massive failure. Brooklyn mortgaged their future to acquire him from the Rockets...and now Harden's legacy is on the line.
We explain why the pairing of Harden and Kyrie Irving won't work. With Durant and Irving already being crowned NBA champions...if this doesn't result in a title in Brooklyn...the blame will fall on the shoulders of James Harden.

Kyrie Irving Needs to Retire From NBA
Thursday Jan 14, 2021
Thursday Jan 14, 2021
Here we are again...talking about the off-the-court antics of the NBA's strangest superstar...Kyrie Irving. Kyrie has been away from the Brooklyn Nets since last week due to "personal" reasons...and is now likely to miss more time for violating the league's COVID protocols.
Kyrie Irving was seen partying without a mask...attending a Zoom call for a New York City political candidate...and partying with Drake...all in the last week. He was clearly becoming too much of a distraction for Steve Nash and the Brooklyn Nets.
The Nets went out and got Kyrie insurance in the form of James Harden. We explain why this could be the end for Kyrie in Brooklyn...and how he will eventually turn on Kevin Durant. We also explain why Kyrie Irving needs to retire from the NBA...and pursue his outside interests.

Patriots Need to Part Ways With Cam Newton
Wednesday Jan 13, 2021
Wednesday Jan 13, 2021
When Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots signed Cam Newton last summer...we thought it was going to work. However...it was clear by October that Cam Newton didn't fit the Patriots offensive system. His style clashed with Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels.
We explain why the Patriots shouldn't re-sign Cam Newton this offseason...and list potential quarterbacks they could go after. We go into detail why selecting a quarterback in the draft won't work for Bill Belichick...and why the Patriots need to go after a veteran.
We also explain why 2020 wasn't all a failure for Cam Newton...and where he could possibly play next season.

This week in our What's Real/What's Fake segment:

Deshaun Watson Needs Out of Texans Dumpster Fire Immediately
Sunday Jan 10, 2021
Sunday Jan 10, 2021
The Houston Texans have never had a franchise quarterback in the history of the organization...until they drafted Deshaun Watson. It's evident that ownership in Houston doesn't appreciate or respect their franchise quarterback.
The Texans have made a series of bad decisions over the years. Prime example is keeping Bill O'Brien around for far too long...who set the Texans back YEARS with his personnel decisions.
Deshaun Watson signed a contract extension with the Texans before the 2020 season...but the organization is a disaster and nowhere near playoff contention. We explain why Deshaun Watson needs to do whatever it takes to get out of Houston this offseason.

NBA Going Back Down Slippery Slope of Woke Politics
Friday Jan 08, 2021
Friday Jan 08, 2021
Last week I uploaded a video praising the NBA for easing up on woke politics throughout the league. Back in October...Adam Silver said the NBA was going to get back to basketball and remove politics...and the ratings the opening week of the season saw a dramatic increase.
Politics were removed...for three weeks. After what happened in Washington DC on Wednesday...players and coaches throughout the NBA are expressing their political opinions. Players threatened to cancel games...and also kneeled for the national anthem.
We once again explain why it's imperative for the NBA to stay out of the political arena...and stick to playing basketball.

Dak Prescott Headed Towards Another Franchise Tag
Thursday Jan 07, 2021
Thursday Jan 07, 2021
Jerry Jones was on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas earlier this week...pandering to Dak Prescott AGAIN. The Cowboys owner was insinuating that a long-term deal was going to get done with their quarterback this offseason.
This is shaping up to be a replication of what we saw in Dallas last summer. We explain why Jerry Jones doesn't want to commit long-term to Dak...and if he did...he would've already done so. We also dispel the notion that Dak Prescott is a franchise quarterback...and explain why he's mediocre instead.
